Last weekend, I did a hackathon.

And it reminded me how exciting it is to spend an entire weekend on solving problems.

Sleeping on sleeping bags at 1 a.m. Then waking up to dive back into work.

It feels like you work in a small startup.

The experience was great.

I made two new friends, and our team of five worked well together. Though we lacked experience, everyone went all in on the project.

Some other teams weren’t as lucky. Only a few of their members actually showed up to work.

This hackathon focused on data analysis.

So we had some online courses beforehand to cover the basics.

It exhausted me. But it was completely worth it. Because that weekend taught me more than my entire semester in college.
